1. Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to the Sovelanta scheduling service and the related Talverta recruiting service. In this policy, “Sovelanta,” “Talverta,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the registered Talverta business and its related services.
Studios, practitioners, service businesses, employers, and recruiting teams use our services to manage clients, appointments, candidates, interviews, staff, and related communications. Those businesses decide what information they enter and which messages they send. Their own privacy practices may also apply.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the services, we may collect:
- Account details, such as name, email address, phone number, business name, and sign-in information.
- Client and scheduling information, such as services, appointments, availability, locations, assigned practitioners, intake details, cancellations, and rescheduling activity.
- Studio information, such as staff, spaces, resources, agreements, statements, reports, and business settings.
- Recruiting information, such as applications, interview schedules, evaluations, notes, and hiring-stage activity.
- Communication information, including email and SMS delivery records, replies, consent choices, opt-out requests, and support messages.
- Payment and subscription records. Payment card details are handled by our payment providers and are not stored directly by us unless clearly stated.
- Technical information, such as device, browser, IP address, timestamps, security events, and how the services are used.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the services, manage accounts, process appointments and interviews, deliver requested communications, respond to support requests, maintain records, prevent misuse, improve our products, and comply with legal obligations.
Sovelanta helps a business organize its work. It does not provide medical advice, make treatment decisions, determine worker classification, or automatically decide professional or financial outcomes.
4. SMS messages and mobile information
We do not sell mobile phone information or share it with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
When you provide a mobile number and separately agree to receive text messages, the applicable business may send customer-care messages through Sovelanta or Talverta. Messages may include appointment or interview confirmations, reminders, changes, cancellations, rescheduling notices, secure management links, and replies to your requests.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS is optional and is not required to book a service, schedule an appointment, apply for a job, schedule an interview, or make a purchase. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance. An opt-out applies to the sending number and campaign from which you received the message.
SMS opt-in records and consent are shared only as needed with telecommunications carriers and service providers that help us deliver and support messaging, or when required by law. Those providers may process phone numbers, message content, delivery status, and consent records on our behalf.
6. Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the services, maintain business and consent records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the choices of the business using the service.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can promise absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You may update certain account information through the service. You may opt out of SMS by replying STOP. You may also ask the business that collected your information to correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, privacy law may provide additional access, correction, deletion, or appeal rights.
We may need to verify a request before completing it. Some records may be retained when required by law or for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate business needs.
8. Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@sovelanta.com. If your information was collected by a studio, practitioner, service business, employer, or recruiter using Sovelanta or Talverta, you may also contact that business directly.
